Google sync is a great way to carry all important information in your laptop in your pocket by syncing your mobile phone with the computer. One doesn’t have to necessarily connect the phone and the computer. Once synced, all information on the computer like phonebook addresses, contacts and calendar are automatically transferred through wireless to the phone. So updating the computer will update the information in the mobile, thus enabling one to keep track of the contacts and appointments, irrespective of whether you are travelling or in the office, all through your mobile phone. The sync happens both ways and the information is safe through the google account even after damage to the phone.
