What Are Service-Level Agreements (SLAs)?
When a customer needs network services, he/she seeks this from a service provider under which a contract is signed and it is this contract that is referred to as a service-level agreement. It serves under measurable terms and states clearly what the network service provider is likely to furnish. Recently, most of the ISPs have come up with a new way of handling the service provision and this is by writing a service-level agreement for their customers. This is all aimed at certain measurements, justification and comparisons on the service provision. This one helps them to get the best information on the outsourcing network providers.
