What is Web 2.0 Technology?

The process through which web is developed and designed via a second generation which ensures information is facilitated by user-centered design, interoperability and sharing is referred to as Web 2.0. This is further deployed to the World Wide Web. The current developments that we are experiencing was as a result of development of Web 2.0 which saw the evolution of web based communities, services being hosted and web applications. Some of the living examples include the social networking services, blogs, video-sharing and folksonomies among others. The web 2.0 is different in quality compared to the World Wide Web and therefore has faced challenges from it.
